The Council for Budget Responsibility (RRZ) has, in accordance with its mandate, prepared a report on fiscal space and fiscal risks, i.e. threats that, should they materialise, could significantly change the expected development of public finances. These risks are often underestimated, which increases the vulnerability of public finances. However, they may have a significantly negative impact not only on public finances but also on the population’s standard of living. As part of its regular monitoring, the RRZ will, alongside this report and its updates, publish analytical studies focusing on selected types of identified risks.
